Orange que te quiero verde, that's Poeticah

The Visual Poetry of Poeticah explores the boundaries between poetry, languages, and traditional with computer visual art.

This is a poem from my chapbook Blue Mundi.

<<Blue Mundi>> Quitzchaxosplu The dashiki sways midst the subway charivari falls to wrap the subway track One more melody in the parrot’s repertoire disintegrates into w h it e s ta t i c The hibakusha souls cry “don’t let ignotum per ignotius extinguish the candle” Then the light shall melt away cacophonous leaden payloads which silence every song More songs mas canciones forgive every lapsus linguae fly into scherzando remolinos slowing down to reflect in a d a g i o fireplaces Om mani padme hum swims through the lotus pond midst golden koi runs through the jungle over the savannah climbs to Inhale Himalayan Heights Rapper’s voice box Yodeler’s echo Throat-singer’s rumble and warble The shaman’s incantations Form the womb of satyagraha Om mani padme hum Exhales Samadhi unites all poets musicians artists healing souls where götterdämmerung spawns ( vermillion-ragged screams from crushing bone-and-marrow ) with the balm of art The day will shine when every zenzontle’s omni-multi-lingual-melody shall thaw every frozen tongue Le dernier cri never shall silence The last mocking bird. <<Blue Mundi>>
