Orange que te quiero verde, that's Poeticah

The Visual Poetry of Poeticah explores the boundaries between poetry, languages, and traditional with computer visual art.

This is a poem from my chapbook Blue Mundi.

<<Blue Mundi>> Music School El charro cantor Carries El corrido de Monterrey From the city lights below to the firmament above El Cerro de la Silla Sombreros mariachis trompetas El Rey El charro cantor With La Diva de Argentina Excite a grito out of the shyest Viva Jalisco! Palms sea breezes coral reefs crystal waves circulate fire through the blood pulse to maracas into full lips bump to bombos Tap feet clap hands click-clack to the clave Twinkles of Carmen Miranda sprinkle out from Sugar Loaf sultry notes of Brazilian Portuguese cling to whirling skirts shine from masks float on streams of confetti The musical rivers found each other in Monterrey then split then joined again at last to celebrate in Brazil <<Blue Mundi>>
