Orange que te quiero verde, that's Poeticah

The Visual Poetry of Poeticah explores the boundaries between poetry, languages, and traditional with computer visual art.

This is a poem from my chapbook Blue Mundi.

<<Blue Mundi>> La Doña Forever Always all eyes were leaden till she beamed from the big screen Then they awakened into large diamonds sparkling from her radiant skin brilliant black eyes and jet-lush hair Her stance and gait a confident peacock pure royalty even when raked across the floor dressed as a peasant even when she yelled with vengeance as she fired a gun Her dominant gestures sultry voice and eyes that embraced the moonless night all too deep and dramatic to suit her for the lighter flights of comedy She was "La Otra" "The Other Woman" Her smile under a tilted plumed hat plunged men of ice into frightened water Her black gloves pushed men into dark mazes full of trap doors With her raised eyebrow she could challenge any man She was is and with that mole on her cheek always will be "La Doña" <<Blue Mundi>>
