Orange que te quiero verde, that's Poeticah

The Visual Poetry of Poeticah explores the boundaries between poetry, languages, and traditional with computer visual art.

This is a poem from my chapbook Axtlanadu.

<<Axtlanadu>> Holy Symbol This is no ballad about romantic byways. Nor is it a lyric on jolly doings. It will not talk of long or tragic days. Nor is it a drama with lofty sayings. But it is a lyric about a boring symbol With no bang to various sounds in it. No vigor in it can match a clashing cymbal And hardly brings to mind a thump or a click. Catch and flip a schwa upon its top. Schwa dons many hats throughout our song. Two turn up out of four by four in our talk. Shun it. How far can you chant this psalm? Wright would blow away my vacant ditty. Work hard and pluck it from his story Gadsby! <<Axtlanadu>>
